Shailesh
Dhuri
Executive
Director |

Shailesh
has extensive experience and the domain expertise in the field
of financial services and is responsible for research operations
and quantitative analysis at Dawnay Day AV Analytics. In his
last assignment, Shailesh worked with the treasury team of
Credit Agricole Indosuez, where he was assigned the responsibility
for bond trading, ALM and transfer pricing. He has also been
the head of the trading desk of one of the primary dealers
involved with market making in Government of India Bonds.
Shailesh started his career with Unit Trust of India, India’s
largest mutual fund, where he headed the treasury desk of
the fund for the first money market mutual fund in India.

is a MBA from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore.
In addition, he also holds the CFA qualification from ICFAI,
FRM qualification from GARP, PRM qualification from PRMIA
and Cost Accounting qualification from ICWAI. |
Gaurav
Gupta

Gaurav
is responsible for strategic planning and heads the business
development operations for Dawnay Day AV Analytics, overseeing
new client acquisitions. Earlier, he served as the Investment
Strategist and Product Head for Onshore Private Banking, Deutsche
Bank. In this capacity, Gaurav was involved in development
of product strategy including development of structured investment
solutions for the Bank’s clients. He was also responsible
for evaluation of fund managers and product due diligence.
Prior to this function, he was responsible for putting in
place a complete financial advisory platform using strategic
and tactical asset allocation. He spearheaded the effort for
development of an efficient frontier covering Indian financial
asset classes. Gaurav has also been a part of the investment
& advisory team at BNP Paribas and the bond trading team
at Unit Trust of India. |
| Gaurav
received his B.A. in Economics from the University of Mumbai,
and his Masters in Management Studies in Finance from NMIMS,
University of Mumbai. |
Paresh
Sharma

Paresh,
with extensive experience in financial markets in India, is
responsible for overseeing research operations. Over the last
decade, he has acquired vast experience and built on his expertise
in the areas of Portfolio Management and Equity Research.
In his last role, prior to co-founding Dawnay Day AV Analytics,
Paresh was the Head of Equities at UTI Mutual Fund, India’s
largest asset management company. Prior to that he headed
the research team at UTI Mutual Fund covering Indian Equities,
Fixed Income and Economy for over five years. He was a member
of the core management team at UTI, responsible for the restructuring
of its operations, along with implementing various strategies
within the organization. He was also instrumental in the successful
takeover of ILFS Mutual Fund by UTI AMC. |
| Paresh
is a MBA from Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore,
and an Engineer from the Institute of Technology – Banaras
Hindu University. |
Narendra Joshi
Director- Business Development |
Narendra Joshi is responsible for Business Development for the UK, Europe and Middle East market. Narendra comes with more than 15 years experience in financial services with UTI Mutual Fund, India’s oldest mutual fund. Prior to joining DDAVA, Narendra was Chief Executive of UTI Mutual Fund’s international operations and was based in London. During his term as CEO, UTI International, mutual fund’s international arm, increased its footprint by expanding its physical presence in Dubai, Bahrain, Mauritius and Singapore and crossed US$ 1 bn for its funds under management. He has worked in areas of funds management, research, equity dealing desk. He gained rich experience in strategic business planning during his stint as Executive Assistant to the Chairman and Managing Director of UTI Mutual fund from 2001 to 2004 when UTI underwent several fundamental structural changes. He was also seconded by UTI for 7 months in Cairo as Head of Research for a Egyptian Mutual Fund. |
Prior his post-graduation in management, Narendra worked for 2 years with Crompton Greaves Limited, one of the large Indian electrical equipment manufacturers, in quality control and business development department. |
Narendra is B. Tech. in Electrical Engineering from Institute of Technology, BHU, Varanasi, India (1985-89) and PGDM from IIM, Lucknow, India (1991-93). |
Sidharth
Dembi
President & Head

| In
his role as the head of research Sidharth is responsible for
delivery of research outputs to our clients. Prior to joining
Dawnay Day AV Analytics, Sidharth had worked with UTI Mutual
Fund, where he gained valuable experience and the domain expertise
in the field of fundamental research and fund management.
Sidharth has been the vice president with UTI Mutual Fund
along with being a Fund Manager, in his last assignment at
UTI Mutual Fund. With rich experience of tracking various
sectors including IT services, Automobiles and Metals, Sidharth
was also instrumental in starting the economy and debt market
tracking in the research division at UTI Mutual Fund. Sidharth
started his career with Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T),
where he worked for 2 years before completing his post graduation. |
Sidharth
is a Mechanical Engineer from REC Surathkal and a Masters
in Management Studies in Finance from JBIMS, University of
Mumbai. |
Ajay Gupta
Senior Vice President – Client Engagement and Process Migration |
| Ajay brings to Dawnay Day AV Analytics over thirteen years of experience in Business Process and Technology consulting, Project and Account Management, Financial Management and Accounting. His key responsibilities include analyzing and migrating Client Processes to the Dawnay Day AV Analytics team.

In his past positions with consulting organizations like Cap Gemini Ernst & Young and A.F Ferguson & Co. in India and Intelli-Mine Inc. in California, USA, Ajay has had the opportunity of working extensively with global clients such as Bear Stearns, American Express, Aramark, Fiat, Reliance Industries and the Birla Group, among others. He has successfully worked on Business Analysis, Project Feasibilities, Business Process Re-engineering, Systems Audits and the design, development and implementation of IT Systems such as Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing, ERP, Transaction Systems and MIS Systems. |
Ajay has completed his M.B.A. in Finance from NMIMS, University of Mumbai and is a commerce and economics graduate from the University of Mumbai. |
